    Why choose a hot water blaster?

    Hot water dissolves grease and oil much faster than cold water, so jobs like engine bays, workshop floors and machinery take less time and less detergent.

    Does the HDS 5/11 U need three-phase power?

    No. It runs on single-phase 230 V power. The burner runs on fuel oil from a 6.5 litre tank.

    Can I transport it in a car?

    Yes. Kärcher designed the pump and fuel tank to be spill-proof when the machine is laid flat, so it suits estate cars and small service vehicles.
